jerry lee lewis bad or not bad because he was ostracized and how can i keep this question going you see the thing is im young i love 50s and 60s music but most of all i love jerry lewis and hs music but i dont know if im in the wright or wrong for that because alot of people think he is a bad person for marrying his second cousin i personally would not do it but i still love him but what do you think and do you think he would have been king if he did not do itWww@Enter-QA@Com

I know it's so easy to leave the "Lee" out - we all shorten people's names - but when talking about the singer, you need to leave the "Lee" in and refer to him as Jerry LEE Lewis!. There's nothing wrong with referring to him as Jerry Lewis!.!.!.!.but here's the thing!. :) There are two famous Jerry Lewis's!. When you just say "Jerry Lewis" people think of the comedian!. When you say "Jerry Lee Lewis" people know you mean the singer!. You can also refer to him as "Jerry Lee", I know a lot of people, as well as myself, refer to him as that!. So Sorry, ha, completely sidetracked and off on something else!.
Anyway, marrying his 13 yr old cousin is just wrong on a lot of levels!. BUT, I don't boycott his music because of that!. I really like his music and I'm going to listen to what I like!. You need to look at the times though, too!. In today's world anything and everything goes!. People would shake news like that, without a second though!. Back then, however, you did not talk about that kind of stuff, no matter who you were!. Your personal life was kept personal to everybody!. Certain subjects were considered taboo in conversation!. Lucille Ball almost got ostracized because it came out that she was a communist!. There was another famous 50's actor or actress - the name escapes me at the moment - that almost got fired because news of an affair came out!.
As good as some of these people are and as crazy as it sounds to us, things like that were solid, reasonable grounds to have your career ruined, back then!. Jerry Lee is a good man though!. He has his past, but he has his good side too!. He has outstanding music!. If you love Jerry Lee, you need to listen to the Million Dollar Quartet!. That CD is under Elvis Presley, but it was a jam session that included Jerry!. Look at it this way too, Jerry made a comeback, he still putting CDs out today and gaining new fans everyday!. Although, I don't he would have been king if he didn't have that past!. Jerry was a great rock n' roller, but he didn't do anything to really stand apart from the crowd, other than his piano playing!. He kind of went with the crowd!. He was really one sided too!. He sang some country, he sings gospel, but he really famous for his fast-paced rock n' roll!. Elvis stepped away from the crowd, risked being ostracized and sang all kinds of music while creating a style so different from what others have done!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

He was a great rock and roll pioneer, has some great songs!. He's a little past his prime now though!. I have his autographed New Orleans Jazz Fest Poster hanging in my living room, it is one of my prized possesions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
