Question: Beatlemania!?
hi im a big beatles fan but i have a question about beatlemania!. why did girls go crazy, why did they faint,why did they scream!. is it showing fanhood or just screming!. im not saying the beatles arent something to scream about i just want to know where the hysteriea came from!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

true rock and roll was pratically becomin' extinct in the early 60s!.!.!.when the fab four hit these shores in 1964; it was like a breath of fresh air to the teens at the time!.!.!.
america was still reelin' over the assissnation of john kennedy; and the beatles' music was a cathartis for that mournin'!.!.!.
also, in 1964, the memebers of the beatles weren't that much older that their audience was!.!.!.
my biggest memory of beatlemania was 2 of my aunts comin' to our house to watch the sullivan show that night!.!.!.ed introduced 'em!.!.!.the audience went nuts, my aunts went nuts, my mom went nuts, and i went nuts right along with 'em!.!.!.and i was all of 4 years old!!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

but i read in a book that there was this girl who was trying to get near them, and fell about 20 feet down a ventilation shaft and landed at Ringo's feet!. And when he asked if she was ok, she just got up and ran!
anyway, i guess they screamed and stuff because it was really hard to get tickets some people actually waited 10 hours! It was kinda a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
