I'm not entirely sure why you're comparing the two, but inmy opinion it would be Merton!. He is exceptionally clever and has a way of coming out with something dangerously good without even looking like he's trying!.
I haven't seen much of Anderson, so I can't compare the two really!. He was good on Whose Line is it Anyway, but that's years ago and it was mainly the comedians improvising that I liked!. And he's been very funny when he's appeared on QI and such, but I suppose I've just been more exposed to Merton than Anderson!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
