I own a menu that Tori Amos used while in a restaurant!. My boyfriend at the time worked for an independent production company that did a lot of work for MTV and one day, Tori Amos was the celebrity being interviewed that they were filming!. So he walked up to her and told her I was a big fan and could she sign an autograph she said "Sure anything for the guy that helps hide the bags under my eyes" (he worked with the lighting for the film crew") I forgot the name of the restuarant and I am damn too lazy to go get it, but it was from some place in NYC and it was their lunch specials which must have bee expensive because prices weren't included and there were some small food stains on it!. It was super cool to be surprised with something like that!. I'm really glad to have it and feel it's definitely better than a signed picture or autograph book!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I once struck up a conversation with a guy I met somewhere
We talked for several minutes, I can't remember too much
about it, but as he was leaving, he gave me a script
(screenplay!?) from the TV show, "M!.A!.S!.H!." It was
the real deal!. It had all the dialog and I think a picture
of the cast!. Its been so long, long ago!. I can't remember
everything!. Anyway, I don't know for sure what I did with
it!. I had it for years, and think I just deep six ed it one day
when I was moving!. I wish I had had it appraised!. Didn't
think about that at the time!.
In 1967, William Shatner of "Star Trek" fame, came to
the Oregon State Fair in Salem!. I hear a noise, and
turned around, and he was just coming out of a trailer!.
Of course, I recognized him immediately cuz I love
Sci-Fi!. Anyway, I took his picture with my Kodak
Instamatic Camera!. When the flash went off, he put
on THIS SMIRK !! and moved his face to the side!.
(I guess so that I would take a picture of his best
profile!)
When I got the picture back after processing, it gave
me great satisfaction to tear it up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
