Winehouse bailed over drug arrest
Singer Amy Winehouse has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of drug offences!.
The 24-year-old was held after police were handed a video which allegedly showed her taking drugs!.
A Metropolitan Police (Met) spokesman said the arrest was in connection with a video of the star passed to the force in January this year!.
On 22 January, The Sun newspaper published pictures allegedly showing the star smoking crack cocaine!.
Footage obtained by the newspaper appeared to show the Grammy award winner inhaling fumes from a pipe!.
Common assault
Last month the star spent a night in prison in London before being cautioned for common assault!.
The singer had admitted to slapping a man with an open hand in Camden, north London, close to where she lives!.
A spokesman for the Met said: "Around 1pm today a 24-year-old woman from the Camden area attended a London police station by arrangement and was arrested in connection with the alleged possession of a controlled drug!.
"This is in connection with an investigation connected to footage passed to the Metropolitan Police on 22 January!."
Earlier Ms Winehouse's spokesman said in a statement: "Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment!.
"She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is co-operating fully with inquiries!.
"The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year!."
