Ok heres mine, not neccesariliy in rank order!.
1!. Moulin Rouge - it's one of those films that you hate the first time you see it but learn to absolutely adore it, I could watch this film non stop for the rest of my life and be happy!.
2!. The Prestige - Its just so original and unique and not what your expecting!. It's a really clever story and one that not many people have seen!.
3!. The whole 9 yards - my fave comedy, its not the most traditional comedy and I like it because the comedy is more subtle and your allowed to make your own mind up about whether you think they intend it to be funny!. Another unique story!.
4!. Juno - I only saw this the other day but really liked it, one of the only American film thats about a high school age teen that isn't portarying America as a self obsessed country who's high schools are full of self obsessed people and stereotyped teenage groups!. I liked Juno's character a lot and the idea again was very unique!.
5!. She's the man - not the most intellectual film I've ever seen, but made me laugh a lot!. Great girlie sleep over film not one that you need to concentrate on too much!.
6!. The shawshank redemption!. Just a one off brilliant film, such a simple idea thats pulled off so well, gives you a different perspective on prison life and the friendships made there!. loved it!.
7!. Trainspotting - Actually nothing to do with trains, but paints a true picture of drug addiction in scotland, weirdly not a depressing film at all, it gives a totally different perspective of taking heroin and isn't afraid to show you the good bits and teh true horrors that come with it!. A mazing film, not fully appreciated and brilliant acting!. The film that made Ewan Mcgregor famous, plus he has a full frontal scene and who's gonna miss that :) Tip: Watch with subtitles cos its hard to understand the scottish accent
8!. Monty Python and the Holy Grail - the best of british comedy, absolutely hilarious if you like that kind of thing!. It doesn't get better! Don't miss the others in the trilogy too, most people prefer Life of Brian!.
9!. Ghost - the best romance film ever made, just beautiful and another wonderfully unique idea!.
