As for actors inspired by him, Orlando Bloom has said he was, as has, Eva Mendes, Helena Bonham Carter, there are loads of people!. I am a obsessed with Johnny Depp so I know pretty much all there is to know about him, without actually knowing him in person!. There are tons of good sites on the internet to get information about him, one of the bests is the Johnny Depp Zone, just do a yahoo search and type in Johnny Depp Zone and the link will pop up, you can find out all kinds of good info there, they even have an archive that has every interview he's ever done throughout his career!. But one of the most important things to know about him is that he didn't choose acting, acting chose him, he orginally came to LA with his band "the kids" hoping to make it big in the music industry, he met Nicholas Cage, his band wasn't going anywhere, and Nicholas Cage told him he should be an actor, he met with Nicholas Cages agent, and landed his first role in the very first Nightmare on Elm Street, and has been acting ever since!. The other thing that is important about him, is the choices he has made, he has never done a movie just because he thought it would be big at the box office, he only chooses movies that he believes, that he can be proud of, regardless of what other people think, he doesn't care about success, he cares about his art, and that's what makes him such a wonderful actor!.
