He's a celebrity, thats how!.

And it really pisses me off!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The glove did not fit, so you must acquit!. He was famous and had a lot of money to pay for lawyers and alibis!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

F!. Lee Bailey!. And lots of money!.

Bailey was once quoted saying that when he comes in to a trial, at stake is that person's life, and his fee is everything they've got!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was about four when the the OJ Simpson murder trial was going on, but I’ll try my best!. I know a lot of people are saying that OJ got away because of his fame and awesome lawyers but here are the verifiable facts!.
There are, of course, many critics of the verdict of Simpson’s trial!. Here are their arguments:

Jurors did not understand the scientific evidence!. Use of DNA evidence in trials was still relativley new at that time!. Prosecuters claimed hearing some jurors say things like “Well, lots of people have the same blood type”!. They did not seem to understand the difference between blood types and an individual’s one-of-a-kind DNA fingerprint!.

There’s this book by L!.A!. County Deputy District Attorney Vincent Bugliosi called Outrage: The Five Reasons O!.J!. Simpson Got Away With Murder!. He argues that the note Simpson wrote before fleeing “reeked” of guilt!. The jury was never allowed to see it, thanks to Clark and Darden!. The jury was never informed of items found in OJ’s car: a change of clothing, a large amount of cash, a passport and a disguise kit!.

The jury consisted of 10 women and 2 men, 8 blacks, 2 Hispanics, 1 Native American-Cacausian and 1 white female!. Based on the defense’s research, black women would not be as sympathetic to a white woman as victim and that women were generally more likely to acquit!. An NBC poll taken in 2004 reported that, although 77% of 1,186 people sampled thought Simpson was guilty, only 27% of blacks in the sample believed so, compared to 87% of whites!.

It should have been made clear to the mostly African-American jury that Simpson had little impact in the black community!. Although the prosecutors obviously understood that Simpson's race had nothing to do with the murders, the defense seemed to be trying to paint Simpson falsely as a leader in the black community!. This probably influenced the mostly blacky jury and skewed the jury’s verdict!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It seemed like the trial ended up being about everything but the actual murder!.

I've always thought that OJ probably owes Mark Furhman his life - once there was doubt about the evidence he collected because of his past I think it was all over!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
