Its all a joke. The teenagers that like them are chicks and they are trying to act cute and funny. They dont really like them, but they do think their hot. As for the tweens and kids they are endorsed by disney and all kids watch that channel and they like weird music i guess.
What a stupid question! Obviously, girls (especially teens and preteens) find them attractive, for one. They have a great stylist. Another reason is that they are actually pretty good, if you took the time to listen and got over yourself. They also appear to be genuinely nice guys, which is a nice change to a lot of the boys that are around today.
