Question: my friendwants to become an atress but she has some doubts cuz of this...
shes not citizen [ yes she's illegal]
she has a disease
her mom only speaks spanish
AND shes MEXICAN!!!

well, sounds to me like she's already an actress, she wants to become a famous one, thats different lol. anyways, that citizenship thing might be a problem..her mom not speaking english is totally unrelated to the situation....
why doesnt she try moving to mexico to get started? or maybe she could go to argentina or chile or venezuela or colombia...those are other latin american countries that have good tv shows like telenovelas and movies and stuff...she could try going there.....now, what disease does she have? depending on what she has, it might be harder for her (please notice I say harder, not impossible)......
how cute is she? generally, in latin america you have to be like super hot or nice looking to get started

It's possible, but she'd probably have better luck getting started in Mexico. Frankly, their televovelas are better than our soap operas in a lot of ways.
BTW - Salma Hayek started out in Mexico and then came to the U.S. to look for acting gigs, but she came here LEGALLY.
yes, but she would definately can, but only if she becomes legal. if she doesn't, then she won't have opportunities to go to acting schools, gigs etc. and if she did somehow manage to get a gig, all this attention would be payed to her, and she it would get revealed that she's not a citizen. and although i hate to say it, american pop culture has become rediculously superficial, so the amount of fame she can obtain depends on her looks too. i hate to say it, but it is true. Lastly, its just luck. its very difficult for anyone to become an actor, and even if she has everything in line, alot of it is just chance. I wish her the best, and hopefully she will make it.
