Question: I am slightly obbessed with John Lennon. When the Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan show, I was about 12 years old. I wanted to BE John Lennon, not marry him! But now I just wish he was still alive, as he is by far the sexist, most charming, most "IN YOUR FACE" with his witty lyrics and total way of being. Why is it that the good ones are always killed by maniacs (Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy, President Kennedy, Gandhi, and my John?) Do the good really die young? Princess Diana, too. Tragic losses to the world, all of them.
Gun control need to happen in a HUGE way. I think they should all be melted down. Karma will get you if you kill any being on purpose, if not in this life than in the next or in the hereafter, as it says in all the religions of the world.

Anything can be used as a weapon. So your rant for gun control is pointless. The freedoms you enjoy as an American is due to the lack of gun control. Unfortunately, this country was born by forceful separation from the King of England - by force of arms - and the great idea of individual freedom.
You should realize that gun control has never reduced crime or prevented homicides. Adolf Hitler was a strong proponent of gun control - hardly a sterling example of a peaceful world or respect for human life.
Luckily, the Constitution insures that the rights of the people cannot be usurped by the individual personal view of one.
