Catherine Tate?!
Question: Why are so many people saying that Catherine Tate is not good in Dr Who. I am an avid fan and I think she's brilliant, so do my kids and my mother. I was so pleased when I heard she was going to be in this series.

Yeah she's sorta comical but not really a ''her'' sort f part, i mean billie piper was perfect for the job! shame she had to leave.
I agree that catherine Tate is a legend and did a good job in Dr Who, but Billie Piper will always have a hard performance to beat.
Saying that, I kept seeing nan and 'How very dare you' characters now and again lol
I like her, her sketch shows are funny.
But she acts too much like her sketch show characters all molded into one.
I kinda want doctor who to be more serious
