Why does society get a kick out of watching celebrities DIE??? I.E.Britney Spear!

The answer is twofold. We as a society are attracted to soft news, such as celebrity gossip, instead of the hard news, such as war and the economy, because of literally unknown reasons. What we do know is that this type of news makes the networks the most money. The second part of the answer is that humans have an attraction to violence. Look at the movies we watch. Look at tattoos and other forms of body modification. Modern day researchers even associate laughter to a primitive brain function resorting to violence!
I don't understand it either. I love Britney, and I feel so much sympathy for her. I'm like Chris Crocker, I want her to be left alone. It's not fair to do that to her; She's only human.

Generally speaking it's because certain people(FEMALES) are insecure in every aspect of their lives and feel better when they see someone ruining theirs. This allows them to judge others and feel better about themselves. Not all FEMALES by the way, mostly teens.
