yeah of course he is...he has a bit of a point yeah but his stuff is crappo if he could come up with some decent stuff then hey i will audition on telly for it!
but im loving watching the show saturday nights though i will not let my mates know im watching it but i am a secret oliver fan i played oliver in the school play in 1983!!!!

Yes, he is - but he also has a point.
The BBC have effectively become a huge promotional outlet for Andrew Lloyd Webber, so I would hope that he's making a big contribution to the production costs.
But, if Mr. Spacy were to stage a show that attracted the mass audience (something like a stage version of Strictly Dancing on Eastenders Ice) perhaps he could be included.
he has a point, we don't pay the license fee to make Lloyd Webber richer, his shows are now basically subsidised by the tax payer.
Well he's jealous for a reason, because yes only this one west end production is getting this terrific publicity.
The BBC are right in saying they arent exactly personally profitting, so they can do what they like! Also a percentage of the voting goes to performing arts bursaries for potential actors and actresses, so people aspiring to the west end become better off.
There are pros and cons to it!
The BBC put it on because it's good entertainment, and Andrew Lloyd Webber isnt exactly going to say no, is he?
I dont agree with Kevin Space. Wether it be Joseph, Maria,or Nancy its good light entertainment. Ignore the politics and enjoy the singing
