Fugitives You Better Run - The Dog is Back!
February 19, 2008 Fans! TMZ is reporting that the Dog is back and the show is going back into production. TMZ also claims the network has confirmed the news. The Chapmans and their manager, Alan Nevins, are mum though and not confirming or denying anything. However, Nevins said, “Dog did not embark upon a ‘tour of forgiveness’. I would categorize it as a ‘tour of understanding.’ Dog went straight to the African American community – the people who mattered in this incident – and made no excuses. He took full responsibility for his actions and then proceeded to show them who he was in his heart. It was these groups, after meeting and spending time with him, who agreed the show should be reinstated and made their feelings known to the public and to the network. Since it was Dog’s mouth and not his heart that got him in trouble, he has given up the worst kind of cussing since the incident which will please many of his fans.” Here’s the TMZ story:
Fugitives You Better Run—The Dog is BACK!
TMZ has learned that Duane “Dog” Chapman will be back in business and back on the air on A&E. Woof!
A network official confirms to TMZ that the show is going back into production, but they’ve not yet set a premiere date. As of now, they’re gearing up big time in Hawaii and production will begin ASAP. Makeup artists and camera crews have been hired, and houses and cars have been rented, all for the return of the show.
A&E had suspended production on “Dog the Bounty Hunter” indefinitely after a recording surfaced featuring Chapman making racial slurs. Chapman immediately began a tour of forgiveness, working with CORE and other groups to promote racial equality. We’re told network execs were “very pleased” with Dog’s attempt to make amends and his reaching out to members of the African American community.
A&E isn’t just making this decision out of the goodness of their hearts either. The show was insanely popular for the network, here and internationally—airing in over 20 countries.

I hope not

hmm why? it sucked
just watch COPS if you want a similar show

I hope SO, i really liked that show!! It wasnt boaring like the rest. And the people WERNT FAKE!!!

Yes. He's suppose to be back on air on a & e at the end of april.

I'm looking forward to seeing them again too

Then you should direct that question to Hollywood and the programmers of the show.. It is their decision.. The general population has nothing to do with television programming therefore, you will only get an opinion in this forum, unless a Hollywood mogul happens to be on Yahoo Answers, and gives you the answer to your question..

i don't think that it will be coming back on....i heard that afeter an intensive back ground check on him, the networks are not interested in promoting someone like him.
