Was George Harrisson of Beatles fame really in The Life Of Brian? I think he was!

Question: The Life Of Brian wouldn't have been made without George Harrison who stepped in with a load of cash when EMI Films (under Bernard Delfont) pulled out a couple of days before filming was due to start (they were scared of upsetting the religious nutters of the USA).
Harrison appears in a cameo role as Mr. Papadopoulos, owner of "The Mount" where Brian and his Mum are listening to Jesus giving the now famous "blessed are the cheesemakers" sermon.
The film has now been officially given the title of the funniest movie in the history of mankind, and (if you listen carefully) Mary Whitehouse can be heard spinning in her grave
