Why does Lee Evans sweat so much on stage?!
Question: Does anyone know?
It can't be the stage lights or whatever. No other comedian sweats like that. He is dripping, with sweat pouring off him, within five minutes of coming on stage...
It's most odd. He is only small and quite slightly built. Does he have something wrong with him?

Apparently he is unbelieveably nervous - and a massive gets major stage fright!
Talking about his sweattyness he once said that this was because he was "as nervous as a nun awaiting her pregnancy test results"!
i think its because hes constantley moving he doesnt stand still much lol
He is Hot Man
As someone already said, Lee is like a bottle of Coke that has been shaken thoroughly when he is on stage. Open the lid and "Voila", he sweats like a horse that has just ran the grand national twice. His adrenalin must really kick in big time to cause such a sweat gland reaction though.

It's cause he's always moving around on stage all the time,..and never stands still!
He's bound to get hot and sweat.
And probably cause he's also nervous.
I think he is hilarious but I really don't like watching him because of the amount he sweats.
probably the nerves, but he is hilarious. i think the sweatiness adds to the humour
Nerves, probably combined with the hot stage lights. I saw him in a play in London last year in which he wasn't nearly as jittery as he is doing stand-up, but when we saw him outside afterwards with fans he was back to being really energetic. I guess it's just the way he is.
Because he uses so much energy moving around he rarely stands still
