Whats the big deal with Miley Cyrus?!
Question: Pretty much every channel I turn to there's something about her. Her voice is not that great, and some people on american idol can out sing her. People paid tons of money to go her concert, for what? To see someone lip sync and have a body double?
What do you think of her? Like her? Hate her?
Do you thinks its right that she's hosting the CMT awards? Besides one song with her dad what does she have to do with country?

I have no idea why these little kids are so obsessed and why parents are willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a concert where as you said she 'lip-syncs and uses a body double. And you make a good point she doesn't deserve to host the CMT's (I don't even plan to watch it) she hasn't written one country song. I think they only want her because they have the possibility of having a higher amount of viewers. You make such a good point about the pictures, Vanessa Hudgens did apologize while Miley (being a snob and irresponsible) insists that all teenagers do it
( I don't and I'm 16) making it right and then turning around and calling herself a good role model. Frankly she's overrated and hopefully people will realize it soon.

Well look at Selena Gomez, Raven Symone, Brenda Song..notice that they don't have famous daddies...they got in for talent. Miley Cyrus is decent but, my grandma is sick of seeing her face everywhere. I DON'T HATE HER. I think she is so/so. But, the awards...I was thinking that someone like Reese Witherspoon would host it. Although, I love Disney Channel I think there are more talented people then Miley.

she doesn't deserve to be famous other people like the jonas brothers had to work for their fame. she just got famous because of her "one hit wonder" dad Billy the hill billy! i think there are a lot of girls that are way more talented then her and won't let the fame go to their heads like her. and she is a selfish brat! i can't wait till this "miley phase" is over!!

I really dont know either. I think a lot of girls look up to her because they think she is pretty and talented, which they dont know what being talented really is at this age. Miley has an okay voice, but nothing amazing... she doesnt deserve to be making all this money for a lisp and an ordinary voice... She's a nice girl, but come on...

I HATE MILEY CYRUS!! She does lip sync and she sucks at acting...she's only famous because of her dad and she's fake and ugly. Her teeth are disgusting and she wear's wayyy to much make up in an attempt to like ten years older than she really is. I am so sick of her and her parents always going on about how she has so much talent and how she's so perfect. I can't stand her and in a few years she'll just be another lindsay and brittney. She's has like three different names and ugh i am just so sick of people like her being famous for no reason. Plus, there's little kids looking up to her and she dresses like a slut and has a ton of skanky pictures of her all over the internet. So yeah, I hate her and she definately should not be hosting the CMT awards.

I agree with you. She's not deserving of all of the fame and attention. She has NO talent and isn't very attractive. I have no idea why she's hosting the CMT awards; she has absolutely no country music credentials and her father barely does.

I like her she can sing and she can act 3. about the body double you people need to get over that it's not like she has a body double for the whole concert she has it for like 2 mins at the end of we got the party with us while she changes it into ''miley''. and the best part is while she changes guess who is up on stage the Jonas brothers oh yeah it's real wrong to pay so much $ to see 1 person but, yet you get to see miley and JB!! Well, unlike a lot of the posts above, I have to say that I like Miley Cyrus. I think that a lot of people like her because she is really down to earth, friendly, talented, and a whole lot of other things. I personally think that she's a good role model; but that's just my opinion. I would pay money to go and see her concert, but I don't understand why you people think that the prices were so outrageous. It's the scalpers tickets that were ridiculous. Her tickets sold here for about $27 Canadian; and FYI: the artists dont get to decide the ticket prices. I think that it is right that she is hosting the CMT awards, and if I got the channel, I would definetly watch it. And she doesn't just have the one song with her dad that's country. She has: "Stand", "Ready, Set, Don't Go", "This is The Life", "Make Some Noise", and a whole bunch of others that could easily fit into the country genre; she's not just hip hop.
She should host! Her dad is big in the country industry, she did a duet with him, and it will attract more viewers. Her voice is great, nobody can out sing her, and her scandals are no big deal! I like Miley and you haters can bite me! MILEY CYRUS ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!
