I wont write the essay for you, but I can give you some good ideas as to why that is important:
1) One of the best ways for kids to learn is from each other. If they see one child that is good and succeeding at something, there is more of a chance that they will want to do the same thing.
2) It helps people who dont shine in the classroom to have their moment of fame on the stage
3) It gives kids a break from the acedemic strains of life and allows them another opportunity to have fun
4) Any "extra curricular" activity that the school sponsors, keeps kids off the street and interested in the school.
5) the more the school offers fun things for the students to do, the more likely the students are to respond positively to other school activities
And as for talent, if you can sing and dance, pick one, that you would rather do: sing or dance, and come up with a routine. I would suggest doing a karaoke-type song. Singing is always a popilar thing to do at a talent show =)

say it gives the kids at (say ur school) to show everyone their amazing talents and how hard they worked to get to where they r (sumthin like tht lol) then maybe sing with a lil bit or dancing in it

well if your best at singing find a song your good at and sing...mabey somehow you could combine singing and dancing if you enjoy both combine them thanks!

pros of a talent show:
you can make a fool of yourself and we can all laugh.
gives us great entertainment to see you being dumber than you are on here!
cons of a talent show:
it's what you want.
you aren't going to get it if you ask people to do all the work for you.
And get a life. I do my homework myself and so should you.
okay so Cons:
People who aren't in it might give
the message that they dont have talent,
(if it is judged) people who don't win might
feel as though they also really dont have talent.
Pros:
Is a good way to show the talent you have
at your school. Also interesting for others to watch.
A fun school event that has been around forever.
I also think that you might want to try to do something
different like you could juggle while you tell jokes
or singing is also really fun to do

and people loved it since its fun
and not many people sing songs like that
and if you were into it and dressed up it would be cute.
or you could dance and sing or just dance to
a song you like.
