Because, in my personal opinion, they have no talent and their songs sound whiny. It's just not my type of rock. Not everyone is going to like every band in the world just because you and a crowd of kids like them. Chances are you'll chew them up, enjoy the flavor while it lasts, and spit them back out anyway. It happens to everyone on the Disney channel.
Anyway, I'm sure there are bands you hate, so it can't be complete unbelievable that there are people who dislike the Jonas Brothers.
As I said, I don't think they have talent. Their music does nothing for me but give me a headache. No offense to you fans. But we're all entitled to our own opinions and I believe their are better bans out there with actual talent who deserve the attention instead of them.
Seems to me people are more in love with their looks than who they are and their music. They're blinded by their looks. They can't see how average the music is.
The fan base is also a very immature fan base, as proven by the comments on this question of children claiming they hate people who hate the JB's. You shouldn't judge and hate a person based on someone's music taste and opinion. Not everyone is the same as you. The majority of you have a silly little crush on them is all. You need some growing up and have to open your mind some more.
I don't hate you for liking them do I? Nope. Not everyones the same. It's the way of life. Get use to it. We don't have to like it cause you kids do.
And considering I'm a girl, I highly doubt I am jealous of their so called 'hotness' and wonderful 'singing'. I'd hate to look like a man or sound like a little boy. Rofl.

well we don't all have to love them. we can love or hate whatever we want and you can't tell us what to love and hate. i don't like them cause personally i think there music is terrible. i like listening to stuff like Immortal, Slipknot, Disturbed, Korn, etc. not stuff like Jb, *shudders* Hannah Montana, MCR, P!ATD, or anything similar to that! do they have great singing voices? do they do increddible solos? do they make you wanna headbang? NO. i'm gonna listen to the legends (like Metallica), NOT pretty boy bands.
how come if you like them things are facts but if someone doesn't like them and has reasons it's just thier opnion? we have reasons why we don't like them you just don't like those reasons.

No. Disney did not create them. Nick was singing randomly at a barber shop when he was young and then he was on broadway, and then when he turned 13 they decided to form a band.

Hi, I'm a proud Jonas Brothers fan. I admire the brothers and their music. The only thing that gets me up in the morning is being able to listen to their songs. I am a really big fan and I know a lot about them. I love them and everything, but I think some people post WAY too many questions about them and "flaunt" their admiration.
To be honest, I don't think half of you actually like the JB for their music. Most of you fall for their looks and claim to be a fan of their music. I liked them before they became popular and their faces became the object of everyone's heart. I agree with the answerer a couple above me, everyone is entitled to an opinion and not everyone HAS to like the Jonas Brothers. I personally don't like Green Day in the same way. You shouldn't jump to conclusions based on whether the person likes the same music as you. That's immature and stupid. I also think people shouldn't post 32 questions a day per account about the Jonas Brothers. They are all really repetitive questions, too. I don't even think some people SEARCH the question before they ask it to see if there are answers. The celebrity section has also been SPAMMED with JB questions, so that's another reason why people have grown annoyed. Sometimes, when I post a non-JB question, it gets drowned out by all the Disney stuff. It's hard to even find answers.
Don't get me the wrong way, I do love them, but I don't feel the need to flaunt it and tell the world. Love of music should come from the heart, not weighed with the amount of questions you post. That's called OBSESSION, and it's non necessarily as meaningful as admiration.
