Why do people not like Simple Plan?!
Question: There an awesome band, and not gay and retarded like Green Day or My Chemical Romance, those bands music sucks.
Simple Plan doesn't, so I just want to know why so many people dislike them?

I could say the same about MCR, or Greenday.
I'm not trying to sound mean, but you are being very hypocritical saying 'why do so many people not like simple plan?' and then saying 'they're not retarded like MCR..'
Simple plan isn't my favourite band, I don't hate them, or think they're retarded but in my honest opinion, I think they are too poppy and have alot less talent then say, MCR or Greenday.
I you think I am wrong, try listening to one of MCR's albums, the WHOLE way through, instead of just the singles, and then, if you still think they are retarded, I will respect your view on them.

They don't suck. There is meanings behind all their songs. The look like s***? Well I didn't know that could stop you from liking a band. (Even though I think they look great) They curse too much? I guess they do quite alot at live shows, but Gerard has even said he thinks cursing makes you seem less intelligent than you actually are, and he can't help it when he's on stage. I really don't know how you can say they are too violent, unless you are referring to the slightly loud music. They are agaisnt violence and there used to be a quote at the end of the teenagers video saying : 'Violence is never the answer.' And as songwriters, they are alot better than simple plan. 'So.Long.Miss.You.When.I'm.Gone.' Is actually incredibely annoying. MCR deserved it when they went into the mainstream, and I'm not saying Simple Plan didn't, I just find it annoying when people say they don't like MCR because they look bad, or suck. I bet if MCR had no haters, people would realize how good they actually are, and stop trying to make these same excuses that I see time and time again as to why they don't like them. None of my friends like MCR, but I don't care, I do.

I use to love them, but I changed my music to a more hardcore form of rock, and I find them too be too whiny and constipated sounding for my taste.

Green Day does NOT suck!! They r the best band ever! I don't like My Chemical Romance, but green day iz my favorite band & always will be!
