it scares me to think that people make any sort of political decision based on what Oprah thinks. It's already bad enough that many badly written books make it on the NYT bestseller list based on whether or not she's promoting it.

No because most celebrities are idiots and a lot of them(usually the ones who are the loudest about politics) have no idea what it is like to be a working class average american.

Not at all. I just listen to their speeches and what they say at the debates. If I like their ideas more than the others, then that's who I'll vote for.
No, I would never vote for someone just because my favorite celebrity did, thats crazy. I wouldn't understand i'm sure we (working people) most likely share different views than celebrities.

this simply does mean that the avr. working man, never has any change to begin with, to run for candidate....
Anyone who lets himself lead by any celeb, isn't clearly thinking for themselfs. Such people are "dangerly" easily to influance for starters, which is never okay in my opion (but he, that's just me ;) )
