Aly or aj michalka?!
Question: a lot of people like aly but i would have to say aj. her voice is much more pure and i like the raspyness to it. alys is reallyy editted and she cant sing live. i think aj is underestimated and should be given more credit. she wrote the song "im here" on thier album and the lyrics are sincere.

Ally is my hero...(j/k, but still, I liked "Phil of the future", lol) AJ would be completely unknown to the world if not for her sister's acting career.

This is a tough question for an Aly and AJ fan. But if I absolutely had to choose...I would choose AJ. She's a better actress and has portrayed a wide spectrum of roles whereas Aly has only portrayed a couple and they were all kind of the same type of person. AJ's also a more talented singer and has a wider range with her voice. Well, now that I've been forced to choose between one or the other, I'm going to go listen to my Aly and AJ albums over and over again until the guilt of actually choosing between one of them goes away. It may be a couple of hours.

I prefer Aly as the better actress and singer, but I think AJ is prettier.
If the question is "who is better?" than the answer is both and neither. They complement each other. They are stronger together than alone. One sided comments, if they read them, would only hurt their feelings. In music (and some movies) they present themselves as a team. We should respect that.
At first I always preferred Aly but lately I've been noticing AJ's singing ability has improved quite a bit.
