What's with Disney's low standards for talent?!

Question: I don't get it. I can't sing. I can't act. I'm not funny. Can I get a million-dollar deal with Disney too?

If your under 21 then ofcourse, go call them today.
Seriousely, im not joking, theyre having an appeal asking kids to send in their videos like every month!

Ever since walt died theyre basically picking people of the street, obviousely miley cyrus was one of them...

Just make sure you look extremely ret@rtded or gay and ofcourse act like a lunatic or sl*t, that is what sells nowadays, using vanessa hudgens or miley again as an example.

:P

xx

only if the public perceives you as cute, or handsome. sorry.

Walt Disney should haunt the studios that keep his name and make them remember what he stood for quality and talent!!

The Disney company has long used cross marketing. Walt Disney believed that "everything sell everything". In practical terms this means that if a theme ride were added to a park for a character (example The Little Mermaid) then the DVD will sell better. The DVD will in turn , stimulate interest in the amusement park. They use the same sort of strategy when they have a successful series star such as Hillary Duff (no intention is made to disparage her talent). Her role on the show will add interest to her movies and music. That is why it is much better for them to have her sing and star in a movie than another young woman that they would have to promote.

Well, since we live in this iTunes generation where the mass of impressionable young minds believe that 50 Cent is more talented than Led Zeppelin, what can we expect unless there IS a change in ideas? Nothing. Zac Efron? I mean, the guy might have some talent doing something else, but High School Musical and Miley Cyrus are all very irritating. It's all about money and more money than talent these days. People have become products: once you aren't popular enough anymore, your closest "fans" will forget you and find another crisis trend. So all these High School Musical, Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brother fans will move on to something new and even more irritating.

They are desperate for money.
