I think it's because of all the drama about how he lost his voice before, and all of the coverage of his audition. It's a little unfair actually, because not all the contestants have that as an advantage. I don't even remember seeing some of them audtion at all! You know, I have a funny feeling it's all going to calm down and sort of fizzle a bit because he's not THAT much better than everyone else.
