Question: there was this singing group at my school today and they made fun of hannah montana the show and miley. Then all the kidas laughed, i know that not very many of my 13 year old friends like the show or her. is it true everywhere?

yup.
not a lot of people appreciate musicians who (regardless of their talent) make themselves an industry. she's pretty much britney spears when she was the same age. sans the double fake name part. and the cornucopia of merchandise aka the curse to the everyday parent who is obliged to spend money on their kids for the sake of their happiness because things like that make kids happy these days. but then again, its all in preference. my genre of music would consider her a sellout but thats just what the mainstream listens to and theres nothing really wrong with that i suppose... but to answer your question, i believe she's too overbearing for even the people who don't really venture deeply into deep music. i think the focus of what's important has gone haywire for the adolecence of today. honestly, people obsess and it's sad because they care less about important stuff, which breeds vanity. and its all so ridiculous. especially to me because im the same age as destiny [miley-hannah] cyrus [montana whatever the heck your name is].
