i've heard of them, i used to like them a lot. but i'm in my 30's and certain that i don't qualify as a member of the "young crowd"!!
I love them....but I'm 29 and my husband is 35 so we are a little older but we're huge fans.
Band member Danny Elfman is probably more popular indirectly as the composer of the simpson's theme, nightmare b4 xmas, pee wee herman's big adventure, etc. etc. etc.
He is very prolific, esp. as one of film director Tim Burton's constant colaborators.
He is also the voice of Jack Skellington.
Oingo Boingo had one hit and it kinda sucks.
