i agree. emma plays guitar and her show is better than miley's (in my opinion) emma is 16 and miley is 15. miley doesnt do anything! she doesnt play any instruments, she cant write her own music, she has everybody doing everything for her!
emma is a better actress and she is better looking. she accually looks her age and she doesnt try to look older. miley is ugly and she is a 15 year old trying to look 21.

Because Miley Cyrus is marketable. Miley cyrus is Hannah Montana and thats what the kids are into. Don't get me wrong, Harry Potter was great, but most people don't even know who played Harry. She's a serious actor and doesn't fit into the kid marketing scene like Miley does.

Miley has a famous dad, she is a decent singer and her target audience is younger girls than Emma's. Miley is also on the disney channel, and this most likely helped her become the huge pop sensation she is today.

The main reason is probably because Miley is on Disney and Emma is on Nick. Disney has been a bigger influence on kids for many years. Disney's advertising is genius. They have Disney World, Disney Land, Disney stores, Disney Merchandise, Clothing, movies, Disney records, a Disney cruise etc. Disney has many other good TV shows as well, so when a new show comes up people want to watch it to see if it is any good. Also Disney is known to be a "family-friendly" station.
