I love Simon! I think he's awesome, hes always dead on with his comments. I think Paula and the crowd needs to just shut it and let him talk for a change with out jumping in a booing him every second.

i hated him seasons 1-4, but recently i've started to realize that he says the truth, and if people dont like that, then that suckss.
He is straight-forward and honest!
If you really, really, REALLY cannot sing at all, then somebody should tell it to you at your face, the sooner the better.
If you can't face honest criticism, then you shouldn't go to an American Idol audition in the first place. They will not tell you what you want to hear, but they will tell you the plain and ugly truth (whether you have what it takes to become a peformer or not). This is what Simon does best.
