How was P Diddy's, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs (whatever) performance in A Raisin!

Question: Should he stay in the studio or go out for other roles?

Answers: Should he stay in the studio or go out for other roles?

He did okay considering its not necessarily his forte. When ever I think of the movie - I instantly think of Sidney Portier. He had an excellent supporting cast. My gosh times have changed so. They were ecstatic to receive 10,000 (not that I wouldn't be glad to get it) but you can't buy a house with it and still have money left over that's for sure. Felicia Rashad did a really, really good job. When she broke down and cried when he lost that money it ripped my heart out to and the wife I felt her pain as well. I enjoyed the movie immensely.

He has a lot of talent;

he credited Heath Leger for being helpful, and supportive of acting more - when they worked together on Monster's Ball.

He looked sort of pudgy, and I didn't realize he acted, but not a bad performance, better than his clothing line that's for sure...but he can sing too! I remember when I was going to this tough mostly minority school called Wagner Junior High School and there was this guy there who played the lead in Raisin in the Sun and I always wondered what had happened to him and maybe he morphed into P. Diddy Sean Puffy Combs ... Does the name Chris Booker ring a bell with any old timers out there around 1974 - 1975 ! He and Shari Lichenstein, both black, always were in the school plays and we even did HAIR and of course Raisin in the Sun!

I thought it was good. Not bad for someone that has a leading role for the first time. I think he should go out for other roles. He does have some potential to be an actor.

I think he did a good job. I was watching his performance to determine what I thought of his acting and it was good... I just think he should probably take some acting classes if he's seriously considering going out for other roles. I think he has potential to be a fairly good actor.
Felicia Rashad was really good in her role and so was the girl that played his wife. I almost cried too when she was sitting at the table and bust out crying because she was pregnant. I could almost imagine myself in her position, knowing that her relationship with her husband was in the dog house, they're living in his momma's house with a new baby on the way and then having to sit and look at her husband feel like less than a man because he couldn't provide for them like he wanted to.
Yeah, I'd say overall, they all did a wonderful job.
