Why in the world do they give freebie's to all the celebs at the academy awa!

It's a way to advertise; photos will be taken of celebs holding a particular 'product', and that influences the hoards of people who want to be 'just like the cool celebs.
Sometimes, a celeb will actually endorse a product, and their sales will skyrocket...
The law has changed about freebies now; they have to pay gift taxes on those freebie's...
I know!! That is messed!! I think it is for bribery, because when celebs don't win any awards, who knows what they might do!! And if that guy in the back of the room is shaking his head, think BRITNEY SPEARS!!!

But its probably because they want to see celebs wearing their sunglasses or something so other people would want to buy them.
I don't know but I think that's probably the second reason why the celebrities even go there. getting an oscar and seeing old and new friends would be my number one reason.
