Jonas Brothers fans: why do you think that people hate them?!
Question: I think for the most part they are hated because they are a disney band and some of the teenage crowd think that if they like them then they will be considered little kids, thus they hate them to gain imaginary grown up points!!!

I disagree that there songs have no meaning. Some are just fun but take SOS. It is about something that actually happened to Nick (poor guy). When you look me in the eyes is an amazing song as well. I love the older songs like Dear God and Time for Me to Fly.
because they've taken something that was huge in the 90's (real boy bands) and tried to form it into something today.
you basically shove cute little boys in tight pants and throw them guitars and watch them whine. it's almost like they're trying to be some wannabe "emo" band.
NO THANK YOU. for fans of true alternative/punk rock, it's offending. music like this almost seems like it MAKES FUN of our music it's so ridiculously corny. and it's sadly what we hear on our radios 24/7, instead of musicians who work so hard to produce good music, and stay true to who they are.
they're whole "i wish i was punk rock but my lyrics are as cheesey as it gets" thing is so fake to me. i just don't buy it. it's not who these boys are. it's who disney wants them to be.
trust me. go to a real show. not one in an arena. in a little club. with a punk rock band. where people are moshing and crowd surfing and loving the music and the bands are barely getting paid and drive in a van that disney DIDN'T give them. they have no bathrooms in those things. they can't shower until they get to the venue. they live off of the money they make from tshirts.
and then the jonas brothers. you throw them on disney channel for 10 minutes and they have all the money they could ever dream of. that is NOT the definition of hard work.

I could really care less because i'm 27, but I have to laugh at some of these comments-- They're on disney for a reason! so kids have music to listen to. I dont want my young kids listening to rap songs that talk about sex and drugs.

I like some of there music. I am also 19 haha. I think people hate them the same way they hate Miley. They bring music that isnt filled with crap and downgrading lyrics. Miley and the JoBros have great songs and none of them have any trash in them. They are whats good with music in America and thats why people hate them. They would rather listen to Snoop Dawg talking about banging a stranger.

because they're jealous, they must be old that they don't appreciate them, so many people like bands that sings songs in the same way just changed tempo, lyrics, beat, etc. and c'mon Jonas Brothers are for kids, tweens, and teens. If some people don't like them why would they waste their time insulting them, while we don't care about the bands that they like even though they sound horrible.
