Is Miley Cyrus Bigger than Britney Spears?!
Question: I don't mean their actual size or anything. What I'm talking about is statistically.
I know that Britney Spears is a legend, being the only solo female artist that has released 3 albums at number one, but what has Miley have on her?
I hear everyday that Miley is better, I personally like Britney more then Miley, but I want to know which of them are really, <i>better</i>.
Can anyone tell me about how many records they both have sold worldwide? and how much both of them are worth? [i.e. Britney Spears is worth about 90 million dollars]

I would hardly say that Miley Cyrus has earned the title of "one of the biggest stars ever". She is VERY popular with little girls, but her star power doesn't extend much farther than that...not that it needs to because tween girls control a lot of the buying in this country. However, Britney Spears had a MASS appeal, she posed on the cover of Rolling Stone when she was VERY young. She was definitely sold more as a sex symbol to older men. Miley is still involved with Disney so it remains to be seen if she will take a similar step. At this point, I don't think Miley is anywhere near as popular as Britney was at her peak.

Miley definitely has more potential to be something greater than Britney Spears as long as she doesn't stroll down the same path. I think she has it in her to go in the right direction, especially since her father is in the picture and he is undoubtedly supportive of her because he has starred in the same show.

I think Miley Cyrus is the next Brit. That's not a good thing. Brit is the biggest white trash and Miley is following in her foot steps.
Britney however played to a bigger audience at first than Miley did.... She built her empire on shaking her items (just check out the videos for what I'm talking about)

Miley brings the honest virginal quality that peopel looked for in Brit, however he voice and choice of music right now is limited espcially by her dad as I think he doesn't want her to make the same mistakes as he has.
People have said that after Hanna Montana, Miley can have a very successful carrier in Country music... And I think she will approach the superstardom, but Brit had the stuff to pull it off (her music was good on the first two cds I will give you that, but her talents have slowly gone south since)

Maybe Britney is making mistakes, but she's human too. People need to just leave her alone and she'd probably quit doing most of what she's doing.
No one EVER leaves her alone...that poor girl has a camera shoved in her face from the minute she opens her eyes until she lays her head down to sleep at night. This is EXACTLY what happened to Princess Diana...all she wanted was to be left alone and for the reporters to get out of her face. And she wound up being involved in a car wreck and getting killed trying to get away from those people. And then everyone acted all sad for a while, and then moved on to mess up somebody else's life. Britney Spears has constant abuse every day...from people on the internet talking about how trashy she's acting and totally tearing apart her character, and then she has people taking pictures of her ALL the time and then after they're done taking pictures, they post them up all over the internet, tv, and national enquirer.
I'm not trying to rant to take up for Britney, but nobody really stops to think she's a human being just like everyone else. And she never really got a chance to grow up. She hit instant stardom when she was 16. Normal 16 year olds aren't going on music tours and everyone googling their name all the time,
No It doesn't matter what anyone says brittney has had a Larger than life career that has lasted longer and has been more popular than Miley. In her earlier days you never heard anyone say that britney was annoying like they do miley, all i ever heard then was how beautiful and talented she was. I think she is going through her own personal hardships and she will emerge a stronger person eventually if she learns how to handle her life better. Which she will, everyone has had their ups and downs. If they're big enough to admit it.

No, she is not. At least, not yet. It is possible that she may someday be a bigger star than Britney Spears, but she is not there yet.
I believe Britney Spears has sold more. Simply because she's been around longer and has many more albums out than Miley. Miley may have more in the future and may end up being better but for now, Britney has done better simply because she's been around longer and has done more. well this is completley differant. miley is a disney kid britney is a pop singing woman who took drugs and went to rehab. how can you compare them. britney shaved off her head and went mental why is not the question who is bigger miley cyrus or jamie lynn spears your comparing a kid to an adult who was once liked but miley has never had that she has always been hated britney may be hated now but never was. and you surley cant be insinurating that miley is bigger than jamie lynn who is 16 lets move on to her sister plz. and she is only as big is she is cuz she is overrated.
