The singer Prince is very feminine, but I know he's not gay. Why is that?!

He's NOT assumed gay, he built a Brand Image as he appeared -- as a wispy, slight, "I don't know what to make of this guy" and he sang very high-pitched, early on with dance music for a wider audience (the hit "I Wanna Be Your Lover")... purposefully, to apeal to the gay-club scene, DJs which was ROCKING in the mid/late 70's.. and the dance crowd, which was still in the Disco/Funk era. He's not nearly now as femme as he was in the day. When you're a 5' 1-2" guy.. women just aren't threatened, first of all... secondly, the guy can dance (and exudes sexuality, of all flavors...). He sang about women. Of sexualizing women, and wanting to be with them, etc. (there was nothing ambiguious about that). Girls got the message. His lips were kissable. Any young girl might make love with him, at that height & 100lbs weight -- and still come out of a Virgin, at that (you know it ain't gonna hurt!)... lol.. PLUS, OF COURSE... you could always walk out the next morning wearing a BETTER pair of shoes, earrings and an outfit.
P.S. - I always liked him and met him 2x. And by the way, the move "Purple Rein" is a movie, and isn't at ALL really how he started/came up, it's a movie based on it. Take a real good look at his early pics/album covers... (and single covers, since he goes so far back, they were still putting out 45-rpm RECORDs of a single!!). He only gained his Purple Majesty image into the early 80's -- with Delirious & Red Corvette etc.

Prince is his own person. I love and absolutely adore Prince I loved him back when he was 18 just starting out wearing nothing but heals, thong and a trench coat.
