They have no sense of commitment because they've been in the spotlight for too long and not in the real world long enough.

Like you said, it's primarily because it's not true love. And when you're rich and famous, you figure there are sooooo many more fish in the sea.
It's sad. Fortunately, not ALL celebs are like that.
Their narcissism has caused them to be empty and dead inside, and love and passion is the only joy and fulfillment they can get. However, the narcissism that draws them to relationships is the same thing that causes their relationships to disintegrate. Celebrities who are unlucky in love are alcoholics and drug addicts because that's the next best joy they can find after love.
So they can stay in the tabloids. It's publicity.
To get on the front page of variety magazines. Publicity good or bad they need to be in the public eye. Except for Tom Cruise he's a stand up guy.
imagine having everyone talking about everything that the couple did, and thepictures being taken all the time. i mean i guess the people also get sick of each other easily. their always around other really attractive people all the time all. temptation

i think that it is because the public is pressuring them into having a relationship too quickly.
Or they feel like they desperately need someone to be with because their life is too overwhelming for them to handle by themselves. But then they rush into marriage because they think they really love the person, when there are actually many problems to the relationship.
they don't see the problems at first, but as the marriage continues on, they see them and decide to pull the plug before seeing if they could actually work it out.

i do believe that celebs are somehow more likely to get divorced, but it is also more scrutinized when ur a celeb. a lot of ppl in real life get divorces too u know.
and dont forget, there are plenty of happily married celeb couples or celeb couples out there who have never even been married.
say like demi moore and ashton kutcher, kurt russell and goldie hawn, victoria and david beckham, sarah michelle gellar and freddie prinze, tom cruise and katie holmes, sarah jessica parker and matthew broderick, courtney cox and david arquette, etc etc, the list continues.
the world isnt as gloomy as we all think ;)
