He just displays a certain type of confidence about himself that tends to intimidates others .
Because he is. Sure he's talented. I don't deny that . But remember the MTV awards? he was such a poor sport b/c he didn't get to perform! He has the gall to believe that the show can't go on without him. The other thing is that there's many other artists out there who are just as talented and they show humility and they're grateful for the little slice of the spotlight they get. Kanye on the other hand, gets the entire spotlight and shamelessly demands more.
Now a little confidence isn't a bad thing but he's just plain arrogant. He should be grateful that people buy his music and gets to do his dream job. A little humbleness goes a long way. [This goes for Aretha Franklin's recent behavior too.]

Because he cannot face the fact that someone may be better than him. The jealousy only lies with him that is why he has to put others down and pump himself up all the time.
Gotta be jealously, he's the only rapper/hiphop singer I like. And I think he's really good!
Because he is arogant. He thinks that he should win every award, which totally discredits the other artists. Plus, I have never heard a single song of his that is worth wasting 2 seconds on.

That's b/c he is. It's not Jealousy he just is very c o c k y and arrogant i love his music but i hate watching him when he talking. He turned me off him when he did that rolling stone pic in the image of Jesus. Kanye is full of himself and it's sad b/c yes he makes great music but he's not saving the world from hunger, or violence. it's just music stop acting like your really changing the world for the better.

i think people don't like him because he's such a sore loser. twice now, he's made a big fuss because he didn't win Album Of The Year. puh-leease. he should grow up and realize that no matter how good HE thinks his stuff is, not everyone's going to agree. other artists besides him put out good stuff too. who is he to discredit everyone else's work in the industry? and he really hasn't done anything "revolutionary" .. he's the wanna-be Diddy.
i dont care what people think or say about kanye!! he keeps it real!!! his music has meaning; and his style is unique. by far the one of the best rappers that ive played in my car!!!
