1. She fits right into that tween group. That's a huge untapped market and Disney and Nickelodeon have found that that's where the money is. She isn't particularly talented but tweens aren't really talent critics. She is dealing with things that they are but it has a fantastical spin on it. It's the same reason High School Musical is so huge. Those kids aren't the best singers...
2. People would turn their back on her the same way they did on Jamie Lynn Spears.

her voice is very annoying and she talks like she might be deaf in one ear.
People like Miley because of what she was before like a long time ago, and she like... put a spell on them to listen to her deafening music... not literally. basically, once a huge fan, always a huge fan... i guess.
And i don't know. i mean, even Miley isn't that stupid. Her show just came out like two years ago, and getting pregnant would wreck it, and the show would be a total waste. it's basically brand new, and she desperatley wanted that part.

I have no idea why they like her. Im older than her but she looks older than me. Her style is just whacked, but i mean i like her when she dressed on the show according to her age. I think Miley Cyrus should get a stylist. She's overrated. I read in the magazine how her parents are teaching her not to do drugs or drink like lindsay lohan or paris hiliton by reading in the magazine. But shes becoming more like that everyday now.
