I dont like it. They try to get themselves into every single talent area!
I mean, why cant they just act or sing.
Some people can pull it off, but EVERYONE is not trying to follow everyone.

disney channel is a way for them to launch their careers and to get noticed.
It's because now a days people want everything in one package. Singing, dancing and acting. It's just more entertaining.
To make more $$$ for themselves and for Disney. You know eventually the 'tweens' will buy it anyway.
Because they are narcissistic boobs that think if they have a voice they must be good singers.
It started along time b4 Miley.... It is just part of being a Disney star I think. The little kids who are their fans will buy anything they make, so why not fake music?

Well i think Ashley Tisdale is pretty good (but only cuz she's older & she has more vocal experience)

Through the years they have always sang as recently as ....Justin Timberlake, Christina Agiulara, Britney Spears....etc etc. Disney does this to try to continue to get a profit off of these young people. But when they crash and burn Disney tries to run away as if they never knew them. This has always been the practice of the Disney group.
It didn't start with Miley. Hilary Duff, Lindsey Lohan, Raven Symone,All pf the earlier one sang too. It is pretty much a requirement at Disney that you sing and act. That is how they make so much money.

Well Miley has always been a singer because she has sung on her show ever since it came out. Same with Vanessa and Ashley (they sang in the musical High School Musical).
And acutally it started a long time ago. Othe actors turned singers are: Steven Segal, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Jamie Foxx.
Even more commonly, is the singer turned actor:
Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez.

It's that Disney machine...try to make as much money out of those kids before their fan base grows up and moves on to other things. Disney has done it before and they'll keep doing it.
Well see in our period 2000-2065 u will hear that a cat will be paid more than Jennifer Aniston . So u have totally right because all actors and actress are singing to make more money that Oprah make . So sometimes with their terrible voices or beautiful they will sing until they are getting more money than anyone who is hardly working from his/her 16 .
It's another way to get known and they have a passion for it!
