I didn't see the movie (nor will I since I'm too old for it), but I read about the "controversy" in my newspaper this morning. I agree with you...if the media wouldn't report what some unnamed group is commenting/complaining about, it wouldn't become "news" and no one would be talking about it. And they think because Miley and Billy Ray didn't wear seatbelts in some scene in the movie that kids will think it's ok not to wear them themselves. Shouldn't we give kids and their parents a little more credit than that!

Well it isn't their responsibility, it's the parents responsibility to tell kids. People need to quit blaming stuff on TV, at the movies, on the Internet and blame their selves once in a while.
