Grammies a waste of time??!
Question: ok 1st of whinehouse is the worst whiner i ever heard. she doesnt even deserve an award for the worst singing. thats too far off n she goes n bags 4 grammies. n the worst part is foo-fighters were in the list. so for people who actually watched the grammies like i did, did you think it was a waste of time??
excepting foo-fighters n tina turner coming on.. i really think it was.. who is with me??

i agree but not because i think whinehouse or foo fighters suck.. their okay...
music is too hard and too difficult to categorize into good or bad...
whats the best and whats not... there are too many different types of music not represented...
i find it odd that metal album hasnt won ... well ever....
so in 20 years there wasnt a best album that was metal..
or how long did it take for a rap album to win..
music is just too hard to categorize to say "this is good and this isnt"
while i usually agree with movie critics...cuz their is decent formula of deciding whether its good or not

what was really sad was daughtry being nominated for best rock album...
oh yea ROLLING STONE magazine said it sucked.. but apparently the grammys said its good... daughtry for best rock album... i dont even know if i consider that a rock album...
Oh you are so dead on target. The grammies are a spectacle of garbage. The most untalented people get awards, who in 3 years will be nothing more than a song on a NOW thats what i call music CD. There are maybe a handful of bands that are good these days that are mainstream. To find talent, you have to go the indie labels before mainstream music companies dilute their music.
It was better than I expected. Because the Tina performance was great . I also was pleasantly surprised by Carrie Underwood's performance, she added a lot of pop soul to her country style. It was nice , she sounded like Christina Auiglera.
