Did Kanye West really DESERVE a Grammy at all?!
Question: I don't think he did!! I am so sick of this tool box. Exploiting your OWN MOTHER'S DEATH on national television to make yourself look like the *hit and to EXPECT to really deserve the grammy? Why? B/c his mom died? Who cares? Both my parents died when I was 19... did I really go around EXPECTING to win stuff??? Or to be acknowledged??? Or to make myself look deserving of a SYMPATHY VOTE??
And then to dedicate his song Mama on national TV -- to carry on the "oh look at me and feel bad for me mentalty" b/c you are "blessed in my presense".... BLAH BLAH BLAH....

I don't think anyone should win anything on pity but he is very popular in the music industry so whos to say he wouldnt get or would if his mother didnt die. We will never know. I also do not know the standards for winning a grammy so maybe you should see what criteria they go by. I personally think Amy Winehouse is a really bad singer and I cant see how she got a grammy but thats my opinion and obviously people like her. Its whatever floats your boat we wont always have the same views so i believe its not fair for you to judge him for winning.
I completely agree with you. He tries too hard to impress everyone and tell the world about his problems. I honestly don't like him because he's extremely pompous. He tried to walk out on most of the award shows because he didn't win "enough."
However, you can't neglect the fact that he is talented. His CD album was the best period. Best rap album of the year. Many many awards for his songs.
He deserves credit for his talent but not for his personality.

I AGREE!! I hate kanye west with a passion. He didnt deserve a grammy.He is stuck up and he thinks he is better than he really is. I had saw him on tv about a year ago on a show on vh1 and while he was leaving he went up to the camera and was chanting and yelling about how he was number 1 and no one else could beat him and how he is top of the charts. He is ugly and has no talent at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion I think he is very talented but his ego seems to really get him in trouble.
