Question: I know this is really stupid and it was probley not but i swear i see george clooney earlier on.

He had one bouncer with him and i knew he was a bouncer cause he was huge lol.

There are a few celebs that live near me like jodie marsh, ross kemp, frank bruno etc but i doubt that george would be down brentwood high street lol.

Lol, why should it sound stupid? England is a nice place to visit - George Clooney could have a villa there for all you know

Sorry, you've been duped.

I am the real George Clooney, and I've been in Cleethorpes all day opening a new Primark shop.

Now I'm off for a chippy tea!!

I live in Cleethorpes and there ain't no Primark shop.

he can't be in cleethorpes?...cos he was on my TV a couple minutes ago!...

wotsis talk about cleesthorp not havin a primart store every town has primark

What matters is what you *believe*. It may be feasible for it to have been the man himself; after all, he *is* real (or so they say) and he does go places. He certainly has the resources to go anywhere he chooses, however unlikely it may seem.

In fact, it's well known that many famous people deliberately go to places where the public is likely to doubt that it's really them in order to take a break from the intensity of the limelight (although this can be difficult even at the best of times e.g. Michael Jackson would be unmistakeable given the appearance he has of having had numerous surgical procedures on his face).

Having said this, you've made the distinction between 'celebrity' and 'star'; while it's fairly likely that you could see mere celebrities like Jodie Marsh or Paris Hilton's impersonator by chance, the genuinely talented star tends to be much less visible for many reasons. They're mostly working and/or spending their time somewhere absolutely *fantastic* like on luxury yachts in Bermuda than walking a grubby urban highstreet or they're much more discrete; they suffer far greater intrusions from the press and public than the celeb such that they come to hate the attention and would rather go out in disguise than waltz around clearly recognisable. Then there's the added danger of being targeted by haters, even with body-guards. N.B. It's by no means necessary for a body-guard to be large. The SAS don't select their elite members - trained killers to the last man - for being big. That type is used for intimidation and physical presence - specifically chosen for those occasions when the charge IS highly visible, not trying to be 'normal' going out for a newspaper!

So again, what you choose to believe is what matters since it's highly unlikely that anyone is ever going to conclusively prove it couldn't have been George Clooney. Besides, what if it *was*? Would that make anyone any more likely to believe it? Even an autograph can be denied! So either way, the chances are no one will believe you actually saw *him* even if it was him!

You might just as well tell your friends you saw a Tyranosaurus Rex as tell them you saw Batman!
