Amy Winehouse: The drugs, the grammy's, and lack of consequesnces.?!
Question: Last night, i watched the Grammy's. I can't believe that Amy Winhouse won all those awards. No offense to her. But shouldn't musicians get held to the same consequences as lets say athletes. For athletes, when they are caught with drugs, they are pretty much screwed. And musicians/music artists, its a week in rehab. And thats it.
Personally, I think that if an Olympian comes out about using steroids.....and she gets stripped of her awards....the same should happen with misicians. Amy winehouse is a good singer, but really, she's in rehab for drugs, and shes winning for a song about refusing to go to rehab. Its pretty contradictory if you ask me.
What are your thoughts??

I agree with you. She shouldn't really be able to win those awards, because teens idolize grammy winners, and she's setting a bad example. But you have to admit the face she made when she found out she won is truly priceless.

Amen to that!!! I couldn't believe how cracked out she was las night. She made a fool out of herself. I felt uncomfortable watching her speech. Oh and how classy was, "my Blake, incarcerated"
Yeah but athletes can rape and beat women and get away with it. And I don't really think that athletes are screwed.. they get a small amount of punishment and then they are back. Look at Mike Tyson for example!
I don't judge people who hurt themselves. I just those who hurt others. Certainly the song is the best idea but they are rewarding talent.
Life is full of contradictions.. look at Dr. Phil writing a weight loss book! HA. Look at Tyra Banks preaching to girls not to loose weight or try to be anything but themselves. Uh huh.
