Others have answered he's dead, it can't hurt him but he clearly has a family who are mourning his death. He also has a young daughter. Would any of these papers be big enough to print a retraction or an apology which is certainly owed to his loved ones.
That's not nice and they shouldn't do that, just post the facts.

i think the papers have too much to say about people, he's passed away now, does it really matter what he did, the press should let him rest in piece and let his family grieve for him like a normal person.
