No! No! I don't think you're going to get too many people to agree with you. The networks have been filling the airwaves with reality shows, and some of them are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas. Bring back the funny sitcoms! We need our escape TV.
To be perfectly honest, I could give a rats behind...I myself am a writer and an inspiring actress...To me its a hell of allot more difficult to write a story line out on paper like art from your mind and hope its appreciated than to simply act out someone elses art say someone elses lines....Though I enjoy watching actors I think it extremely unfair that they get millions off of their so called "hard work" than the man down the road sweating and bleeding for minimum wage just to put food on his family's table...You should get paid based on your labor...It may be hard to act mentally and it may be hard for the writer to come up with some clever quip to write down as his or her mind's art, but I have no pity whatsoever for either party...The ones who very well should go on strike can't because they don't have the money to take a vacation, they don't have enough to feed their families while they ***** about getting paid an ungodly amount of money...My point? No-one should care so much!
I never watch any of the shows that they need writers for so I havent missed them at all. I just like Survivor and Deal or No Deal and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. lol.. I really dont care if they ever go back to work.
