What rank was Elvis Presley?!

Question: When he got out of the Army?

Answers: When he got out of the Army?

I do believe he was Sgt. Presley when he left the Army in 1960.

lol guessing A PFC

General Elvis. He was going to run for President but then that singing thing really took off.

He was a sargent, you can look it up on Wikipedia

I believe he left as a Staff Sergeant

He was a Sergeant when he was discharged, honorably at the end of his tour of duty.

Elvis was discharged from the Army on March 5, 1960, as a sergeant (or buck sergeant, as some sources refer to the rank, though "buck" simply means the lowest rank in a specific military category). Several photos showed Elvis with staff sergeant stripes, but he did not earn that rank. His rankings and dates of promotions through his military period are as follows:
Private, upon draft
Private, First Class, November 27, 1958
Specialist Fourth Class, June 1, 1959
Sergeant, January 20, 1960

Thank you

He was a Sargent, and he did earn his promotions, he had to test for each ranking, and passed them with no problems, this was released and is on record at Graceland..
Lisa Marie had all his rankings encased at Graceland, in 1998.....they can be seen in his trophy room out back of the main house....we have been there, and the rankings and certificates and tests are all the wall there, for all to see...she stated once, she wanted the world to see that her daddy was for real and not just a celebrity, and had to work for his stripes....

He did earn the rankings...don't put him down, he was given favors in the army, but rankings was certainly not one of them.......

sgt,just b4 getting out

He was a Substandard Member of the Peanut Patrol
