Does Chris Rock mentioning the N word endlessly in his stand up routine make you!

Question: He obviously talks about them as if they're the lowest type of Black person so why is it ok for him to discriminate but no anyone else

It is a double standard. A black person can use that word, but not a different race. It is a touchy subject, and I would just leave it be. If people don't like to hear him use the N word, then they don't have to see his shows. He isn't exactly a clean pollitically correct comedian....and not at all for people who are easily offended.

I hate chris rock. he's a racist prick. why is it okay for black people to be racist against whites but not the othe r way round. i hope he gets shot. Report It

  • Thats not his intention, he is a comedian and what ever he talks about is there to make people laugh. Its not to be taken seriously!

Is he black himself? 'cause I read that, when a black man calls someone a N****** , he is not actually, saying the same thing as a white man calling someone a N*****.

I don't know whether to spit or laugh!

So, he is black, what a bloody surprise.

Not really cos he's so funny. He's 'allowed' to use that word anyway

Chris rock is so funny, and his style of delivery is such that I don't think it is possible to take offence. Part of his act is that he explains what he means when he says the N word and differentiates it from what he means when he refers to a black person

See the above link for a better explanation

there is no need for him to repeatadly use the N word i agree....he abuses the fact that he is black so that he can comfortably use the word without causing an out rage !!
if peter kay got up on stage and started shouting the N word im pretty sure he would get banned from live shows across Britain for being a racist...i just dont think it is a word that should be used by anyone !!

He uses the N word the way I use the words 'chav scumbag'. It's okay, to criticise because he's black, and not criticising black people per se, just the N's he grew up with.

No one hates lazy @ss lowlifes more than someone from the same place that's made good with their life. I totally get where he's coming from. Apparently so do his audience of hardworking black folks.

    No it doesnt bother me.
One of Chris Rocks famous skits is called: Black People vs N-ig-g-e-r-s....And the ni-g-g-ers have got to go....funny stuff.

I don't think it is about the word itself, it's who you say it to.
I think it would be okay for a white comedian to say ni-g-g-er as well as long as it's done in jest and not aimed at anyone particular person.

You hear rappers say it all the time, even non black rappers like Eminen or Jin and none of the black people say anything.
Like i said, i think it's who it is directed at that counts as discrimination.

You have to look behind the launguage he uses. He says a lot of things that are funny and true.

    he is funny
