What do you call an obsession?!
Question: I'm a huge fan of Beyonce. I have her all over my myspace. I listen to her music, went to her concert ( yes the one she fell at in Orlando). I have most of her cd's and dvd's. My friends and family ask me why I like her so much. And I sometimes get real offensive when someone is saying bad things about her. Is this an unhealthy obsession? Or am I just a really big fan?

I think an obsession is that point to where that musical person is ALL you think about and you live your life according to their lifestyle. It becomes an obsession when it interferes with school, family, friends and your life. It's not bad to have their CD's and posters and adore them, but becareful that you dont do anything to interrupt your daily life, especially for a celebrity.
both. you should just accept it if someone is talking bad things about her. If you really cant help it, at least say it in a nice way. Like tell them:"Why are you talking like that about her?" if theres no reason THEN you can be mad. People have no right o say evil things about others. You should cut down on some Beyonce. YEs, it is unhealthy obsession. I'm not saying its bad to like her and her music and all but you've got to know your limits to that obsession. Place boundaries so you dont get caught up in your obesession. If ya know what I mean and all...
i dont know what it is,only you know what you feel about her.
i have a friend of mine that she loves a football player (i guess she is obsessed with him) she has dvds,clothes,every newspapers and magazines that talk of him,posters of him and she is thinking in get a tattoo with his name,i think it is really an obsession.
