He was one of my favorites. I loved him in "10 things I hate about You" He was really good in his other movies too. So sad he's gone. Shocking. I think he was a really great actor.
he was a human being and we all have to go one day. i feel bad for the child he left behind. although i don't approve of the lifestyle. i actually liked brokeback mountain. i just saw it recently for the first time.
I loved how he helped promote homosexuality to all movie goers. Its Hollywood folks like that, that have mad being gay trendy. Thanks for that
I do because he was a young and aspring Movie Star just the Roles he played lately got to him.

I couldnt care less. Heath Ledger was an actor. He pretended to do things. I am much more concerned about the death of Kevin *. Jones. He died defending Heath Ledger and you. He didn't make the front page and no one has mentioned him on Yahoo Answers. But, he died fighting for you and for Heath Ledger. He didn't make alot of money or have millions of fans, but if you were a wiser person then he would have had one more.
PS I couldn't care less whether anyone gives me a thumbs up or a thumbs down on this answer. People like Heath Ledger die in a penthouse of an overdose while people like Kevin *. Jones die in the dirt from a bullet or a bomb.

He was a fabulous actor with a great smile. From what I've heard from Hollywood and the pple he lived near in NY he was very down to earth and liked to live his life like the rest of us not as a cleb. I havent heard that about many actors. Heath was known to help the poor pple around him and those who needed a friend.

when one has to go, one has to go. i liked him in a knight's tale - acted pretty well. even brokeback mountain was good. sad...
It's sad when anyone dies. What makes him special? He killed HIMSELF, I don't mean to sound callous, but he did.
So sad when a young person dies, alone & with unfinished stuff like little 2 year olds, especially when those left behind will blame themselves for not effectively intervening. Only saw him in Candy, felt it was a surprisingly unaffected performance, given that he'd done a fair whack of films by then & well observed. He was a very generous actor, making his co-star Abbie Cornish look good,even tho he was the better known star. Felt he had a very likable screen persona. Shouldn't be shocked but yeah felt quite shocked at his life being nipped in the bud. Just proves that we don't know the day or the hour. Gotta live each day as if it's your last. Thanks for the question.... a reminder of other young ones who died... it's good to express it .....still grieving
