Beyonce' would be classified as an American contemporary R&B singer, however, she is not technically an R&B artist because R&B is a specific type of sound (Wilson Pickett, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke) and Beyonce sings what we currently call urban, "Black" music.
Pop is not a genre, it is "popular" music. She would also be classified as a pop artist.
She has only had 2 solo albums as a solo artist:
* 2003: Dangerously in Love
* 2006: B'Day
* 2008: Third studio album coming soon
